In February of this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23 series. While the flagship phones feature improved cameras, numerous Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ customers have observed camera blur in close-up images. Samsung has now confirmed the issue on its European community page. The company stated that a software update will be released to address this issue. The South Korean company has also outlined the cause of the problem as well as a remedy to prevent the blurring.

In the meantime, Samsung has released various workarounds for the camera blur issue on the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+. Users are advised to shoot images from a slightly larger distance or to hold the phone upright while photographing. Holding the phone horizontally or obliquely can cause the background to appear fuzzy.
